SPL, ASPL, All PLs, APLSs should be sure to attend. Any scout in a Leadership PoR, is encouraged to attend. Class A.
Pack 1 is having den meetings so Den Chiefs should attend and be helpful!
Pancake Breakfast Nov. 17, MUMC
We are having our Fall Pancake Breakfast this Sunday, Nov 17.
Start inviting your neighbors and friends, acquaintances, teachers, coaches, the family down the street that you raked leaves for. Use this image on your FB page. Nextdoor, etc. We're counting on you to help out and to promote!!!

December 13-15 • Board game Camp • Kiwanis
Start picking out your favorite games. Risk, D&D, Catan, Secret Hitler, Monopoly, even card games like 21, etc. Please do not bring Cards Against Humanity, it's too inappropriate for a scouting activity. We'll be at Kiwanis, but our gaming will take place in Gordon Hall! Pack some slippers, no shoes on the wood floors and the concrete gets cold.

Register for Scouting in 2020
You may have recently received mail about fees for Scouting going up. They're not going up for us in Metro Lakes District. They're going up for the rest of the council. That said, nobody is turned away for an inability to pay the full amount.
If you don't register before the January 1, things get messy with getting dropped from our roster, etc. Please don't make extra work for our volunteers.
If you don't plan to continue in Troop 1 next year, please reach out and let me know.
Scoutmaster Corps and Committee Registrations are paid for and handled by the troop - thanks for volunteering, you don't need to register yourself.

Dog Sledding Opportunity
The week (Sun-Tues) prior to snow base, we have an opportunity to go dog sledding. Mrs. Barber presented this a few weeks ago as a potential High Adventure.

Tettegouche State Park Feb 16-18 (Sun-Tues, No School for MPS)
2 bedroom cabin w/ fold out couch, sleeps 6 officially
Indoor bathroom, full kitchen (likely a former ranger house)
$200/night + reservation fee ($435 total for 2 nights)
50 min drive to White Wilderness
Approximate cost for 7 people (4 scouts, 3 adults) = $350/ person
Includes dog sledding, cabin ($63), food ($30), gas ($20)

Philmont 2021
We put in for one crew for summer 2021. We will know our Dates in December.
We had enough sign-ups for one full crew. If any of these people are not able to go, we'll look for somebody to take their place.
